Springing into Renewal: A Heartfelt Thank You for a Joyful Day

On April 12th, Better2gether hosted our Spring Parent Mini-Retreat & Kids Camp—a day designed to rejuvenate and uplift our community.

Parents' Mini-Retreat: Moments of Connection and Peace

Moms enjoyed a serene environment where they could relax, connect with others facing similar challenges, and find solace in shared experiences. Through guided discussions and peaceful activities, they rediscovered the strength that comes from community support.

A heartfelt thank you to Sole Serenity Massage for treating our Better2gether moms to such relaxing and rejuvenating massages. Your generosity provided a moment of peace and self-care that meant the world to these incredible caregivers

Kids Camp: A Day of Joy and Discovery

While Moms recharged, their children engaged in a variety of fun and enriching activities. From creative arts to interactive games, the kids' laughter and excitement filled the air, embodying the spirit of springtime joy.

A Community Effort: Gratitude to Our Volunteers

This special day wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated volunteers. Their time, energy, and compassion ensured that both parents and children had a memorable experience. Thank you for being the heart of our community events.

Looking Ahead: Continuing the Journey Together

As we embrace the season of renewal, we're reminded of the importance of coming together to support one another. Your continued involvement and generosity make events like these possible. Thank you for being an integral part of the Better2gether family.

“I want to say how welcomed we felt. It’s been hard for our son and family to find our right fit because his conditions are less visible, but we struggle and live in crisis so often. We’ve felt we don’t belong in the typical world and at times felt shunned by the special needs world because his conditions are visually masked. I’ll never compare our situation to anyone else’s—we all have our own unique struggles. I believe giving and receiving compassion and understanding are the best ways to support each other. I’m so grateful to have met you and the other ladies in the group—sometimes we’re the only ones who truly understand these unique struggles in trying to love our kiddos and ourselves as best we can.”
