Better2gether is excited to welcome Nicole Harris to our Board of Directors.
Nicole brings two decades of experience in the banking industry, a strong commitment to community service, and a personal passion for making a difference. Nicole is Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Relationship Manager at Fulton Bank. Originally from Upstate New York, she relocated to Virginia in 2018 and now resides in Powhatan with her husband TJ, their two children—Olivia (4) and Owen (15 months)—and their beloved Boston terrier, Zoey. Nicole also recently added “chicken mom” to her resume, caring for five hens and a rooster, and she enjoys coaching her daughter’s soccer team through the YMCA.
When asked what inspired her to join the Better2gether board, Nicole shared:
“I have been looking for quite some time to find a board where I could truly make a meaningful impact. I’m so inspired when individuals take their personal experiences and use it to create positive impact for others. Better2gether’s mission immediately spoke to me.”
Although Nicole does not have a personal connection to rare and chronic illnesses, her love for children and desire to support families navigating such challenges drive her commitment.
“It honestly breaks my heart to see children with any type of chronic illness—that’s why I’m honored to join this board and contribute to making a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.”
Nicole is eager to use her professional expertise and community connections to expand awareness and support for Better2gether. Her vision for the future is clear:
“I hope to see Better2gether expand its reach to more families and continue enhancing the lives of children and caregivers in our community.”
She also encourages donors and supporters to get involved:
“Attend events when you can, and share the mission of Better2gether with others. Awareness and participation are powerful ways to help us grow.”
Nicole describes herself as someone who strives to “bring sunshine on cloudy days” to those around her. We know her positivity, passion, and community spirit will make a lasting impact on the families Better2gether serves.
