When a child is living with multiple rare and chronic medical conditions, families are constantly managing doctor visits, medications, medical equipment, therapies, hospital stays, and so much more. The journey can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating. 

That’s where Better2gether steps in. We walk alongside families so they never have to navigate this journey alone. 

Now, you can help carry that spirit of support into the Halloween Hustle 5K & Kids Run, presented by Allianz Partners, on Sunday, October 18, at Deep Run Park. 

Maybe your reason is personal—a daughter, son, sibling, friend or someone who has inspired you. Or maybe you’re showing up for the families in our community who are facing challenging medical journeys and need a little extra support. 

When you register a team, every step helps raise funds for Better2gether’s Family Navigation program, connecting more families with guidance, resources, encouragement and a community that understands.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of carnival-style fun, including games and prizes, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, Kona Ice, music, a costume contest, trick-or-treating for the kids and new this year a dunk tank featuring RVA personalities at 3pm.
