More Than You Can Imagine
February is Rare Disease Month—a time to pause, listen, and shine a light on stories that are often unseen but deeply felt.
Globally, more than 300 million people are living with a rare disease. Behind every diagnosis is a child, a family, and a journey that is more than you can imagine. It’s more than medical appointments and treatment plans. It’s the emotional weight of uncertainty, the isolation of navigating a system not built for rare conditions, and the daily courage it takes to keep going when answers are hard to find.
On February 28, Rare Disease Day, people around the world come together in a patient-led movement to raise awareness and advocate for equity—for timely diagnoses, access to care, and meaningful inclusion in community life. While the challenges vary from country to country and family to family, one truth remains universal: no one should have to face a rare disease alone.
At Better2gether, we see this reality every day. From the moment of diagnosis through the complexities of daily care, families are navigating paths filled with medical, emotional, and logistical hurdles. That’s why connection matters. That’s why guidance matters. And that’s why community matters.
To coincide with Rare Disease Day on 2/28, Better2gether is proud to launch our 2026 Annual Giving Campaign: Navigating Together.
With guidance, connection, and hope—together, this campaign reflects our commitment to ensuring that every family has a trusted navigator by their side. Someone who helps make sense of complex systems. Someone who connects families to resources and community. Someone who offers reassurance during some of their hardest moments.
Throughout February, we’ll be building awareness around rare diseases and sharing more about how Better2gether walks alongside families every step of the way. We invite you to follow along, learn more, and be part of a movement that reminds families they are seen, supported, and never alone.
Because the journey is more than you can imagine—but together, we can help families navigate it with hope.
