Creating Space for Dads to Connect. Introducing Dads2gether!

Based on thoughtful input and feedback from Better2gether dads, a new program has been created with their needs in mind. Dads2gether was developed after hearing a common theme—dads wanted a space to connect with others who understand the unique challenges of caring for a child with complex medical needs. We recognized that dads often have a different role in the family unit and a different experience than the primary caregiver, which is frequently the mother. They carry their own burdens and, many times, don’t have the same outlets for support. Dads2gether offers a place with no pressure, no expectations, and no one trying to fix everything—just honest conversation, shared experiences, and the opportunity to build meaningful connections.

The Dads2gether kickoff on May 18 is designed to bring that vision to life. The evening will feature dinner, simulated golf (beginners welcome), and a relaxed environment focused on fun, connection, and community. It’s an opportunity for dads to step away from the day-to-day demands, share a few laughs, and spend time with others who truly get it. The event will take place at Drive Shack, with opportunity to swing some clubs and hit some golf balls, enjoy some good food, and non-alcoholic beverages, all provided by Better2gether.

This program exists because of the generosity of our Better2gether donors and partners. Your support makes it possible to create spaces like Dads2gether, where families—and especially dads—can find connection, understanding, and community. Thank you for helping bring this vision to life.
